Due to the difficult meteorological conditions, cleaning works are carried out intensively in order to avoid traffic delays on the roads. Snow-clearing equipment is mobilized in all directions, technical salt is continuously poured on the roads in order to restore the traffic in the shortest possible time.

At the moment, as a result of intensive cleaning works, the traffic of trailers and semi-trailers on the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze and Akhalkalaki-Kartsakhi international roads has been restored. Also, on the km39-km62 (Nakerala Pass) section of the Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road, light traffic has been restored, and the movement of trailers has been restricted so far. Traffic is free on the Tbilisi Revenue international road.

At the same time, according to the National Environment Agency on the Mleta-Gudauri and Stepantsminda-Larsi sections of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road, the level of avalanche danger is low; Cleaning works are already underway. The avalanche danger still persists on the Gudauri-Kobi section, due to which all kinds of traffic is restricted on the mentioned section.

Due to heavy snow and low temperatures, on the km 1-km 106 (Gomi-Zestaponi) section of Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi secondary road, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted, while the rest is free.

Due to heavy snow and mudslides, only off-road vehicles (with two or more driveways) are allowed on the Alpana-Tsageri secondary road, while other types of vehicles are restricted.

Due to snow and low temperatures, on the km 36-km 50 (Verona-Shuamta Monastery turn) section of the Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi road, only off-road vehicles (with two or more leading bridges) are allowed, while other types of traffic are restricted. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to the danger of snowstorm, on the km 94-km 110 (Paravani Pass) Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda secondary road, every day from 20:00 to 08:00, trailers, semi-trailers are restricted During the rest of the period, the movement of vehicles is free. Traffic with two or more driveways is free.

Due to clear ice, the movement of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats is restricted on the Km 70-km 186 (Khaishi-Ushguli) section of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road. On the km 138-km1 86 (Mestia-Ushguli) section, light traffic is allowed using anti-slip chains. The movement of off-road vehicles (with two or more driveways) is free. Traffic is free on km 1-km 70 (Zugdidi-Khaishi) section of the road.

The Roads Department urges the population to drive with appropriate tires for the winter period, with proper transport and to obey the regimes imposed on the roads.
