Due to the difficult meteorological conditions, cleaning works are carried out intensively in order to avoid traffic delays on the roads. Snow-clearing equipment is mobilized in all directions, technical salt is continuously poured on the roads in order to restore the traffic in the shortest possible time.

According to the National Environment Agency, the danger of avalanches on the Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road has been removed and the cleaning works have been resumed.

We would like to remind you that since March 3, due to the high level of avalanche danger on the Gudauri-Kobi section, all types of traffic have been banned.

Due to heavy snow and sleet, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the km138-km158 (Chumateleti-Khunevi) section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road, and the movement of other types of vehicles is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to heavy snow, low temperature and poor visibility, on the 146-km 106 section of the Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi secondary road, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted, while the rest of the traffic is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to difficult meteorological conditions (snowstorm, debris, low visibility), all types of vehicles are restricted on the km 94-km 110 (Paravani Pass) section of the Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road The rest of the road is free for vehicles.

Due to the snow, on the Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road, km39-km62 (Nakerala Pass), the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to clear ice, the movement of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats is restricted on the the Km70-km186 (Khaishi-Ushguli) section of the Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road. On the km138-km186 (Mestia-Ushguli) section, light traffic is allowed using anti-skid chains. The movement of off-road vehicles (with two or more driveways) is free. Traffic is free on km1-km70 (Zugdidi-Khaishi) section of the road.

Due to the snow, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the Sachkhere-Oni road, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free.

The Roads Department urges residents to drive with appropriate tires for the winter period, with proper transport and to obey the regimes imposed on the roads.
