Due to the difficult meteorological conditions, the cleaning works on the roads continue in an intensive mode. Snow-clearing equipment is mobilized in all directions, technical salt is constantly poured on the roads in order to restore the traffic in the shortest possible time.

At the moment, as a result of intensive cleaning works, the traffic on the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road is free.

Special modes of movement are maintained on the following roads:

Due to heavy snow, only off-road traffic is allowed on the Chokhatauri-Bakhmaro road km17-km33 (Buksieti-Chkhakaura). While, the rest of the traffic is restricted. Traffic is free on km1-km17 (Chokhatauri-Buksieti) section of the road.

Due to heavy snowfall, on the Cholaburi Bridge-Terjola-Tkibuli secondary road km16-km29, traffic is allowed using anti-slip chains. Traffic with two or more driveways is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to the snow, on the Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri section of the Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road, km39-km62 (Nakerala Pass), the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted, and the traffic on the km1-km62 sections is restricted. Traffic with two or more driveways is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to heavy snow and low temperatures, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers on the Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi road km15-km106 is restricted, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free. Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to heavy snow, on the Kutaisi-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili international road km42-km125 (Tsageri-Mele), trailers, semi-trailers and vehicles with a capacity of more than 30 seats are restricted. The movement of other types of vehicles is allowed using anti-slip chains. Traffic with two or more driveways is free. Traffic is free on km1-km42 (Tskaltubo turn-Tsageri) section of the road.

Due to heavy snow and low temperatures, the movement of trailers, semi-trailers with a capacity of more than 30 seats is restricted on the Alpana-Tsageri secondary road section of the Alpana-Tsageri road, while the traffic of other types of vehicles is allowed usinf anti-slip chains. Traffic with two or more driveways is free.

Due to difficult meteorological conditions (snowstorm and low visibility), all types of traffic is restricted on the Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda km94-km110 section (Paravani Pass). Traffic is free on the rest of the road.

Due to heavy snow, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted on the Sachkhere-Oni road, while the movement of other types of vehicles is free.

Due to the heavy snowfall, only off-road traffic is allowed on the km86-km106 section of the Batumi-Akhaltsikhe secondary road. While, the rest of the traffic is restricted.

Due to heavy snowfall, on the Kutaisi-Baghdati-Abastumani-Benara secondary road, km28-km50  (Baghdati-Sairme) traffic is allowed using anti-slip chains. Traffic with two or more driveways is free.

Traffic of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats is restricted on the section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road km30-km186 (Jvari-Ushguli). On the km138-km186 (Mestia-Ushguli) section, light traffic is allowed using anti-slip chains. The traffic of off-road vehicles (with two or more leading bridges) is free. The traffic is free on the km1-km30 (Zugdidi-Jvari) section of the road.

The Roads Department urges the population to drive with appropriate tires for the winter period, with proper transport and to obey the regimes imposed on the roads.
