After the National Environment Agency removed the threat of an avalanche on the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road, the cleaning works of the road from Gudauri to the 99th km of the road started immediately and are actively continuing. At the same time, according to the National Environment Agency, the danger of avalanches remains from the 99th km of the mentioned road, after the removal of which intensive cleaning works on the remaining section will start immediately and the traffic on the road will be fully restored. At the moment, Gudauri Kobi section is being cleaned in parallel on both sides.

At present, as a result of intensive cleaning works, the traffic is free on the Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road, on the Akhalkalaki-Kartsakhi road, km 1-km 36, Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda road km 90-km 112 and also Khashuri-Akhaltsikhe-Vale road km 1-km 50 (Khashuri-Atskuri).

Due to heavy snow, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is restricted in Sachkhere-Oni, Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri (Nakerala Pass), Lentekhi-Mele, Khaishi-Kala, Kala-Ushguli, Koda-Partskimo-Koda-Partskhimos-94 (Paravani Pass) section and Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi road km 12-km 106.

All types of traffic are restricted on the mountain road - Korsha-Shatili section.

The Roads Department calls on the population to follow the restrictions imposed on Georgian roads and on roads where precipitation and low temperatures are expected to drive with seasonal winter tires.
