According to Roads Department of Georgia, as the summer came, the routine maintenances works shall be carried out in Chakvi-Makhinjauri tunnels located at km92 of Senaki-Poti(detour)-Sarpi international road; Therefore,  traffic in the tunnel will be restricted for all types of transport in the direction of Kobuleti-Batumi from 00:00 of June 17 to 00:00 of June 23, while the movement will be restricted in the direction of  Batumi-Kobuleti  from 00:00 of June 23 to 00:00 of June 27.

During the closure of Kobuleti-Batumi direction of the tunnel, traffic flow will be diverted to Batumi-Kobuleti direction of the tunnel, while during the closure of Batumi-Kobuleti direction, movement will be diverted to Kobuleti-Batumi direction

Traffic under the mentioned mode will be carried out with the direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.
