According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to conducted cleaning works, traffic at Kala-Ushguli section for light vehicles has been resumed with the special mode. Currently, due to snow and glaze-ice traffic at km186-km198 (Ushguli-Lasdili) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road is restricted for all transport means. Movement at150-km186 (Mulakhi-Ushguli) section of the mentioned road is restricted for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30-seats. Meanwhile, traffic at km171-km186 (Kala-Ushguli) section is permissible by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for tandem drive vehicles.

Traffic movement is free at km1-km150 (Zugdidi-Mulakhi) section.
