According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the landslide occurred at km8 of Alpana-Tsageri secondary road wherefore traffic is restricted for all types of transport. Appropriate equipment is mobilized on the spot and cleaning works are underway in order to resume traffic in the shortest possible time.

Traffic is free at the remaining sections of the road.
