According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to a heavy snow, certain restrictions are imposed on the roads, namely:

Due to heavy snow and glaze-ice, traffic at km28-km158 (Natakhtari-Khunevi) section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers, while the movement is free for other types of transport.

Due to heavy snow, traffic is restricted at Tbilisi bypass road for trailers and semi-trailers, while the movement is free for other types of vehicles.

Due to heavy snow and low temperature, traffic at Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi secondary road is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers, while the movement is free for other types of transport.

Due to heavy snow and glaze-ice, traffic at km65-km98 section of Ponichala-Marneuli-Guguti International road is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers, while the movement is free for other types of transport.

Due to adverse weather (heavy snow, blizzard and limited visibility), traffic at km1-km36.5 section of Akhalkalaki-Kartsakhi international road is restricted for  trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats, while the movement is free for other types of transport.

Due to heavy snow, traffic at km 39-km62 (Nakerala Pass) section of Kutaisi (Motsameta)-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri secondary road is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers, while the movement is free for other types of transport

According to National Environmental Agency, due to intensive snowfall and low temperature, avalanche hazard risk is high on Gudauri (Posta) – Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (border of the Russian Federation) international road. Consequently, traffic on the mentioned section is restricted for all means of transport.

Due to heavy snow and avalanche hazard, traffic at km171-km186 (Kala-Ushguli) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road is restricted for all types of transport.
