According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to technical requirements, the company – Akar Ic Vedish Tijared Limited Shirket – that scheduled works at the Gori tunnel located at km88 section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road, did not manage to complete the works in a previously announced timeline and completion has been expended till 14:00.

During this period of time, traffic in the tunnel will be restricted for all means of transport and will be diverted to the bypass secondary road of Gori tunnels.

Traffic under the mentioned mode will be conducted with direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.
