Two-lane Traffic on Kutaisi Bypass Road to be Conducted by Special Traffic Management Scheme

According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, traffic at Kutaisi bypass section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road is free and will be conducted as follows:

The traffic on Nakhshirghele-Chishura km216-km218) section of the road will be carried out in both directions with two traffic lanes;

From a Chishura bridge crossing, located at km218 of the road, to Geguti interchange located at km228 of the road, during two-lane traffic the carriageway will be separated by road markings and sign posts with a lead 8m.  Moreover, in both directions of the section, in order to take traffic safety measures, "two-way traffic", "overtaking is prohibited" and "maximum speed limit" of 60 km / h will be placed in addition to each kilometer; Also, in both directions, in order to take traffic safety measures, "two-way traffic", "do not overtake" and "maximum speed limit” of 60 km / h will be placed in addition to each kilometer;

The traffic on the Bashi-Ochopa bridge section will be carried out in both directions by two lanes - the median lane in the middle;

Traffic of vehicles from East to West and vice versa will be carried out by passing through Bashi interchange located at km248 section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road and Samtredia-Dapnari interchange located at Samtredia-Grigoleti Lot 1 km259-km260).   

Traffic under the mentioned mode will be conducted by direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.
