Rehabilitation of 7 km long Lentekhi-Bavari secondary road (km1-km7) commences. The bidding has already been announced for procurement of works and today is the last day for submission of bidding proposals.

Lentekhi-Bavari road is the only connected road between two populated areas, accordingly proper functioning of this road has utmost importance.

For the time being, rehabilitation section is extremely damaged and out-of-service, thus impedes the traffic. 

For ensuring safe and comfortable traffic, the project considers rehabilitation of the carriageway; arrangement of structures, reinforced-concrete retaining walls, culverts, ditches and gabion walls. Also, junctions to local roads and entrances to private yards, enclosed bus stops and bus shelters shall be provided under the project. Road signs, marking of the carriageway and road delineation shall be implemented.

Project is financed from the state budget.
