Periodic maintenance of 6.3 km long Chokhatauri-Bakhmaro road (km0-km6,3) has been completed. Earthworks have been carried out, asphalt-concrete pavement has been laid on the carriageway, and junctions to the local roads have been arranged under the project. Road safety improvement measures, in particular, marking and delineation of the carriageway, installation of road signs have been implemented.

Project is financed from the state budget and its value is GEL 1 154 051.  Works were implemented by the company “New Road".

Chokhatauri road leads to Bakhmaro resort and the proper operation of this road has the great importance in terms of the region’s development and the full use of tourism potential.
