According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to abundant precipitation, Rioni River has flooded the carriageway at km17 (village Zhoneti)  of Kutaisi (Choma) – Alpana-Mamisoni Pass (border of the Russian Federation) secondary road; therefore traffic is restricted on the mentioned section for all types of transport.
