Roads Department of Georgia launches design works for rehabilitation of 7 km long Lentekhi-Kheledi (km1-km7) section of secondary Lentekhi-Bavari road. Completion of design works is planned by the end of the current year, where after bidding for procurement of rehabilitation works would be announced and upon revealing the winning company, rehabilitation works will start.  The completion of rehabilitation works is expected in 2021.

At the same time, bidding will be announced in the immediate future for procurement of repair works of separate damaged sections of 5 km long Lentekhi-Bavari road (km14-km19), and for remaining works to upgrade the roadbed.  

It should be noted that emergency routine repair works regularly are being conducted on the mentioned road and they will continue as required, thus ensure uninterrupted traffic. Graveling works have been already implemented on the mentioned sections under the road maintenance.
