Due to intensive works, rehabilitation of 8km section of Samtredia-Lanchkhuti-Grigoleti international road has been completed prematurely.

The Samtredia-Lanchkhuti-Grigoleti international road is characterized by high traffic intensity, serving the main transit transports of the country. Therefore, the upgrade of road infrastructure in this direction is of great importance.

The road pavement of the section to be rehabilitated was severely damaged and urgently required rehabilitation. In order to solve the existing problems, the rehabilitation project included earth works, milling and paving of the asphalt-concrete pavement, rehabilitation of artificial buildings, arrangement of junctions of local roads and entrances to the yards of the population, road markings, development of road signs and delineation of the carriageway.

The project worth GEL 5, 197, 808 was funded from the state budget.
