According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, as part of the ongoing works for modernization of the Kutaisi bypass -Samtredia section as a 4-lane highway, traffic at Dapnari interchange placed at km259 of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road to Bashi interchange placed at km248 of the same road, will be restricted for all means of transport, except for construction vehicles from 16:00 of April 10, 2020.

The traffic flowing from west to east will be switched on the existing km216 (Nakhshirgele interchange)-Kutaisi-Samtredia section of existed Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze secondary road (S-204) and by passing through ramp 2 of Dapnari-Samtredia-Akhalsopeli and Bashi interchange traffic will be conducted for connecting to Tbilisi.
