The heads of the Roads Department, together with the representative of the Labor Inspection Department and the Technical and Construction Supervision Agency have visited the Kutaisi bypass-Samtredia road construction project. The delegates got introduced to the implementation of the recommendations issued by the Intergovernmental Council set up by Prime Minister to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.

Pursuant to the Resolution №181 of the Government of Georgia on the Approval of Measures to be Implemented in connection with the Prevention of the Spread of the Novel Coronavirus in Georgia, construction sites are pre-inspected and monitored to determine whether the Corona virus prevention recommendations are in place.

The contractor organizations of the Roads Department are fully aware of what kind of measures should be taken to prevent coronavirus at work facilities. Companies have already started working in this direction. Appropriate trainings are held.

In the near future, all the companies that will fully take into account the measures to be taken to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus in Georgia will continue their work in the ordinary course.
