According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, avalanche hazard has been eliminated at one of Gudauri-Kobi sections (km93-km99) of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (border of the Russian Federation) international road and cleaning works commenced, while avalanche hazard still remains at another  section (km99-km106).  All relevant machinery is mobilized in place and upon elimination of avalanche hazard traffic will be resumed at all sections in the short term.
