Roads department has published the 29 projects funded by State budget electronically in advance before the bidding announcement. The noted biddings will be announced in March and April. The companies are enabled to receive detailed information about projects and bidding conditions to prepare better for participation in biddings.

Its already third year when the Roads department conducts Doors Open Day and introduces the projects to contractors before bidding announcements, which ensures the participation of more companies in tenders and therefore more competition.

To prevent COVID-19 infection, according to the instruction of Inter-Agency Coordination Council on COVID-19 headed by Prime-Minister and the recommendations from the Ministry of Health, Department will not conduct the Doors Open Day for contractors and all necessary information will be uploaded electronically on department’s web page. Roads Department’s goal is bidding procedures to become more transparent and effective and to allow interested companies to get familiar with the projects before bidding announcements. This will help them to get better prepared and the environment will become more competitive. Open, transparent and equal conditions will be ensured for all organizations.

Department will provide information about all innovations and planned changes to the contractor organizations and interested groups in advance.
