Chinese Citizens Employed in Road Construction Undergone Quarantine

According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, employees of a Chinese company carrying out road construction works, that were in China in January of the current year went through a quarantine period set by the World Health Organization (WHO). None of them showed a symptom of coronavirus during the full period of quarantine.

After proper medical inspection, Chinese citizens went through quarantine in accordance with the recommendations of the WHO and the Ministry of Health of Georgia, in isolation, under the supervision of healthcare professionals.

In total, 83 Chinese citizens have passed the quarantine period.

To recap, in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, at the request of the Roads Department, Chinese contractors have suspended the entry of Chinese citizens into Georgia.
