According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to conducted cleaning works traffic at Gudauri-Kobi section has been resumed for trailers and semi-trailers. Currently, movement at Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (border of the Russian Federation) is free for all transport means.

According to the National Environmental Agency, traffic at Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section will be conducted in a non-stop mode, only by passing through avalanche galleries.

Unidirectional traffic mode will be applied for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats in avalanche galleries.

Mentioned traffic mode will be enforced under direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police.
