Construction of a new bridge crossing over Ksani River at km 40 of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze International Road (border of Russian Federation) is progressing.

Existing bridge, located over Ksani river in the vicinity of Patara Khanda and Mukhrani, was damaged and in breakdown condition and required urgent dismantling.

According to the design, new bridge will have 6 spans. Total length of the bridge is about 195 m, while the width is 14 m. At this stage, works are intensively progressing and project completion is expected ahead of time, i.e. in the current year.

New bridge to be constructed over Ksani River will be part of the highway and will ensure comfortable and safe one-way traffic in both directions.  

Works are financed from the state budget and the value is GEL 4 145 905.
