According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia based on the information provided by the National Environmental Agency, sharp rise of temperature increases the avalanche risk  at Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (border of the Russian Federation) international road; therefore movement is restricted for all types of transport. 

Traffic is free on remaining sections of the road.
