According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to conducted cleaning works, traffic at Gudauri-Kobi section has been resumed for light vehicles. According to the National Environmental Agency, at present (till further change of weather conditions) avalanche hazard is low at Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road (border of the Russian Federation), consequently lifting restrictions is recommended.

Due to snow and glaze-ice, traffic at Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road (border of the Russian Federation) is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers. Movement is free for the remaining means of transport.

According to the National Environmental Agency, traffic at Gudauri (Posta) - Kobi section will be conducted in a non-stop mode, by passing through avalanche protection tunnels.
