According to the National Environmental Agency, due to intensive snowfall, traffic at Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (border of the Russian Federation) international road is restricted for all means of transport.

Movement is free at the remaining sections of the road.
