Roads Department of Georgia will rehabilitate streets in Kutaisi city in 2020-2021 based on the Decree of Georgian government.
Roads located in the vicinity of Kutaisi car-factory right settlement with total length 14520m will be rehabilitated; 1400 m long road passing through III turn of Chkhobadze street and 5500 m long section connecting Daviti and Konstantine street and Leselidze street will be rehabilitated. Estimated value of rehabilitation works will be about ₾ 10 MIO.
Roads Department will complete rehabilitation of 9 streets in Zugdidi city in 2020. Road infrastructure and drainage system will be fully improved thus will enable population of Zugdidi to move on an upgraded and comfortable road.
Rehabilitation of several streets (Gugunava, Shartava, Ninoshvili, Bukhaidze and Javakhishvili streets) completed in 2019. Avenue connecting Nikea and Sulkhan Saba streets is under rehabilitation. Improving of road infrastructure on Aghmashenebeli, Tsereteli, Liberty and Sayat-Nova streets will continue in 2020.
Streets rehabilitation project envisages laying of asphalt-concrete pavement, rehabilitation of artificial structures, arrangement of culverts, curbs, sidewalks and road signs. Rehabilitation works will solve existing problems and road users and local population will be able to move on an upgraded and comfortable road.
In total 10 streets will be rehabilitated by Roads Department in Kutaisi.
Besides the streets of Kutaisi and Zugdidi, Rekvava street in Poti municipality and 2 km long Martvili bypass road will be rehabilitated in 2020.
