According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, imposed restrictions for light vehicles on movement by application of antiskid chains has been lifted. In addition, due to heavy snow and avalanche hazards, traffic at km186-km198 (Ushguli-Lasdili) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road is restricted for all transport means.

Because of snow, movement at km100-km186 (Lakhamula-Ushguli) is restricted for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 sits. Traffic is free for the remaining transport means at km100-km138 (Lakhamula-Mestia). Movement is permissible by application of antiskid chains at km138-km186 (Mestia-Ushguli). Traffic is free with tandem-drive vehicles.

Km1-km100 (Zugdidi-Lakhamula) is free for movement.
