Roads Department of Georgia conducts design works for 18km access road and railway to Anaklia Deep Sea Port. Irakli Karseladze, First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Chairman of Roads Department discussed project activities.
“The state applies the undertakings routinely. Construction of the access road and railway to Anaklia Port was not a hindrance to this project. The first part has already been submitted, and on October 2 the contractor will fully present the project. After that, the winner will be identified for conducting construction works. Estimated cost of access road and railway to Anaklia port amounts to GEL 330 million. The road and the railway will be constructed before the port starts operations, as it was undertaken by the state,” said Karseladze.
