Rehabilitation of 26km Nichbisi-Didgori-Didi Toneti road has been completed. The project consisted of two sections. The mentioned road connects the two regions – Mtskheta-Mtianeti and Kvemo Kartli with the shortest route.

Rehabilitated road starts in Nichbisi village, crosses river Nichbistskali, passes through Mukhran Batoni tower, churches of Archangel and Virgin Mother, Didgori Glory Memorial, through the church reaches a pass, and finally connects to Kojori-Tetritskaro road.

Only 545 meter of Nichbisi village was covered with asphalt, the rest wearing carpet was covered with soil. Movement at mentioned road was worsening especially during bad weather.

In order to solve existed problems, complete rehabilitation of the road was provided. Asphalt-concrete pavement was arranged at 26km section, artificial structures, retaining walls and traffic signs were arranged. The project ensures safe and comfortable movement for the users of Nichbisi-Didgori-Didi Toneti road. 

The project worth GEL 20, 571, 700 was funded from the state budget.
