Road cleaning, disaster liquidation and prevention works are conducted in a non-stop mode at Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo road. Several companies are conducting works with heavy equipment simultaneously.

It is noteworthy that the shepherds are able to move to Tusheti by walking paths.

In parallel, snow cleaning works and repairing of damaged sections during winter are going from both sides of the road.

The works continue in the disaster zone, where the works for formation of a riverbed and restoration of the collapsed road at km9 of Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo road are at completion stage. In addition, in the intensive manner the project works are underway for disaster prevention and restoration of the damaged sections.

We would like to remind you that due to abundant precipitation, overflowed river indulged carriageway at km 9 of Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo secondary road in Lechura village on May 10. Therefore, traffic is restricted at km9-km72 section of the mentioned road for all types of transport.  Traffic is free at km 1-km9 section of the mentioned road.
