According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, from May 22 to June 7 traffic movement will be temporarily restricted in Gori, Kobuleti bypass road and Chakvi-Makhinjauri tunnels due to the prophylactic works related to the summer season.

Traffic at Gori tunnel, located at km88 of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road, will be restricted for all transport means as follows: for Tbilisi-Senaki direction, restriction will be imposed from 08:00 of May 22, 2019 to May 24, 2019 and for Senaki-Tbilisi direction, restrictions will be imposed from 08:00 of May 29, 2019 to 08:00 of May 31, 2019. During imposed restrictions at Tbilisi-Senaki direction, traffic flow will be diverted to Senaki-Tbilisi direction at the tunnel, while Senaki-Tbilisi direction will be diverted to Gori tunnels bypass secondary road. During closing of Senaki-Tbilisi direction, traffic flow will be diverted to Gori tunnels bypass secondary road.  

Traffic at tunnels located at km24 and km28 section of Kobuleti bypass secondary road, will be restricted for all transport means from 08:00 of May 22, 2019 to 08:00 of May 23. During the closing of tunnels, traffic from Poti will be diverted from interchange located at km13 section of Kobuleti bypass secondary road, by passing through Sajavakho-Chokhatauri-Ozurgeti-Kobuleti secondary road and Senaki-Poti-Sarpi international road. As for the traffic from Sarpi, the movement will be diverted from  interchange located at km30 of Kobuleti bypass secondary road, by passing through Senaki-Poti-Sarpi international road.

Traffic at Chakvi-Makhinjauri tunnel, located at km92 section of Senaki-Poti-Sarpi international road, will be restricted from 08:00 of May 29, 2019 to 08:00 of May 31, 2019 for Kobuleti-Batumi direction. As for Batumi-Kobuleti direction, traffic will be restricted from 08:00 of June 2019 to 08:00 of June 7, 2019.  

During the closing of Kobuleti-Batumi direction of the tunnel, traffic will be diverted to Batumi-Kobuleti direction, and while closing of Batumi-Kobuleti direction, movement will be diverted to Kobuleti-Batumi direction of the tunnel.
