Rehabilitation of km17-km20.8 of Tsitsamuri-Saguramo-Tskhvarichamia secondary road is ongoing.

The project envisages complete rehabilitation of the road in particular, arrangement of asphalt-concrete pavement at 3.8km section, construction of structures, connections to local roads and traffic signs. Horizontal road marking will be also arranged within the project.

Construction of the first layer of asphalt is currently ongoing.

Local population mostly uses Tsitsamuri-Saguramo-Tskhvarichamia secondary road. At the same time, an upgrade of the mentioned road is of significant importance for the development of tourism infrastructure. 

The road was heavily damaged, the asphalt-concrete pavement was fragmented and the rest of the road was graveled.

The project, worth GEL 1, 8 million started in October 2018 and will be completed in June 2019.
