Rehabilitation of 9km long, Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda-27^th km (Amlevi chalets)-Orbeti is ongoing. Irakli Karseladze, First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has inspected rehabilitation works on site.

At present, the road is paved only with soil and is severely damaged, with potholes on the carriageway. Overall, it causes traffic delays.

In order to crack an existed problem the project envisages complete rehabilitation of the 9km street. In particular, asphalt-concrete pavement will be constructed, artificial structures will be rehabilitated, drainage network will be upgraded, and junctions to local entrances, entrances to residents’ yards will be arranged. Traffic signs will be installed and road delineation works will be conducted.

Rehabilitation of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda-27^th km (Amlevi chalets)-Orbeti road will reduce traffic distance from Tetritskaro to Tbilisi by over 15km.

The project, worth GEL 4 200 000, is funded from the state budget. The project was commenced in March 2019 and will be completed in January 2020.
