Rehabilitation of 5.5km Khobi-Sajijao-Lesichine (km5-km10.3) secondary road is intensively ongoing.

The mentioned road, together with local settlement, connects road networks of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international highway and Senaki-Chkhorotsku-Tsalenjikha-Zugdidi road. Consequently, appropriate functioning of this road is of core importance for socio-economic and cultural development of the region.  The project also envisages construction of junctions to local entrances, entrances to private yards, bus stops and enclosed bus stops. Elimination and marking of the carriageway will be also arranged.

The project, worth GEL 2 434 716, is funded from the state budget. The project was commenced in October 2018 and will be completed in July 2019.
