Rehabilitation works of 5,5km road of Sakantario district, section of Zugdidi-Narazeni-Dzveli Khibula-Akhali Khibula-Zubi, Dzveli Khibula administrative district, are ongoing. The mentioned section passes at the territories of Khobi and Zugdidi municipalities. The project envisages complete rehabilitation of the road section and three bridges, upgrade of access roads to residents’ yards, arrangement of drainage networks, bank protection gabions and outdoor lightings.

Rehabilitation works for several sections are additionally planned in Dzveli Khibula administrative unit: 1.4 km road in Sakvaraio district, 3 km section in Saghurtskaio-Sakonjario and 1.1 km road in Narazeni-Sajijao connecting section.

Giorgi Tsibadze, Deputy Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia was on site and together with technical team made technical assessment for the preparation of design works of rehabilitating road section in Dzveli Khibula.

Completion of rehabilitation works of Dzveli Khibula road will provide safe and comfortable traffic movement towards the mentioned direction and will reduce traffic time and cost.
