Employees of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia continue sharing experience with the representatives of Kakheti municipalities.

Today, the heads of the relevant structural units of Roads Department shared best practice with the representatives of municipalities. Presentations were given in the following directions: legal techniques (signing an agreement), communication with citizens and the Roads Department, resettlement (admission commission, setting land plot identity), environmental public monitoring, public meetings and public involvement in the preparation of environmental report, grievance acceptance mechanism and road safety.

The next stage of such a meeting will be held in West Georgia.

The goal of the meetings is to train all municipalities at procurement, implementation and monitoring of infrastructural works that in the future will positively affect the implementation of infrastructural projects, mutual cooperation and the future development of public sector activities.

The event was implemented with the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) within the framework of the "Development of Local Self-Governance in the South Caucasus" program.
