According to the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the cleaning works have been started  at the km93-km99 of Gudauri-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road. Due to the Avalanche hazard, cleaning works have not started yet at the second part of the road (km100-km104)

On the remaining section of the road, the cleaning works will be started after removing avalanche hazard mode and the traffic will be restored in the shortest time.

We would like to notice that, due to the strong snowstorm and limited visibility the movement was restricted on Gudauri-Kobi section yesterday morning.
