According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to complicated meteorological conditions and heavy snowfall, several restrictions were imposed on roads on March 2. Appropriate equipment was mobilized and cleaning works were performed during the whole night. Currently, restrictions were removed and movement is free at following sections:

Km90-km112 section of Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda international road and km37-km55 (Verona-Shuamta) section of Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi secondary road. Traffic was resumed for light vehicles at Nakerala pass.

Imposed restrictions remain active for trailers and semi-trailers at the following sections:

Due to snowfall and glaze ice, traffic movement is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers at km138-km158 (Chumateleti-Khunevi) section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road. Movement is free for other transport means.  

Resulting from intensive snow and glaze ice, traffic movement is restricted for trailers and semi-trailers at km1-km40 section of Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi secondary road. Movement is free for other transport means. 

As a result of intensive snowfall, traffic movement is restricted for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats at km32-km72 section of Kutaisi (Motsameta)-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri secondary road. Movement is free for the rest transport means by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for tandem-drive vehicles. 

Complicated meteorological conditions (snowfall, wind and snowdrift) has resulted establishment of restrictions for trailers and semi-trailers at Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road. Traffic for the rest means of transport remains free.

Following snow and glaze ice, traffic movement is prohibited for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats at km30-km186 (Jvari-Ushguli) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili secondary road.  Traffic for the rest means of transport at km30-km100 (Jvari-Lakhamula) remains free. While, movement at km100-km186 (Lakhamula-Ushguli) is permissible by application of antiskid chains. No restrictions are imposed for tandem-drive vehicles.

Traffic movement at km1-km30 (Zugdidi-Jvari) section of the mentioned road is free.
