Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to snow and clear ice, traffic on Jvari-Ushguli (km30-km186) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats, but movement for light vehicles at Jvari-Mestia (km30-km138) road is free.

Traffic for light vehicles on Mestia-Ushguli (km139-km186) section is permissible by application of antiskid chains, but movement for vehicles with two or more main axles is free.

Traffic at km1-km30 section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is free.
