Based on information of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, road cleaning works are actively ongoing on Mleta-Gudauri section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road. Road cleaning works start from Gudauri, on the first section of Gudauri-Kobi (km 93- km 99). Avalanche hazard mode is active on the second section of Gudauri-Kobi (km 100- km 106), where commencement of road cleaning works is not yet possible. All the necessary equipment is mobilized from Kobi side and upon removal of avalanche hazard, road cleaning works will be started from both sides.

After improvement of meteorological conditions on Gudauri-Kobi section, traffic will be opened for accumulated vehicles as soon as possible.
