Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, arrangement works of the temporary bridge on Ledzadzame-Kvauti connecting road in Senaki municipality are completed and traffic is resumed for vehicles. From now on, local population will have possibility to move on Ledzadzame-Kvauti road without problems.

We would like to remind you that due to heavy rainfall on August 10, a flooded river Tekhuri destroyed the bridge existing on Ledzadzame-Kvauti road and up to 80 families were isolated from the outside world.

Roads Department was involved in disaster liquidation works from the moment of disaster and fully mobilized equipment. The Department carried out design and arrangement works of the temporary bridge in the shortest possible time.
