Cleaning works are completed in disaster zone in Chuberi and restoration of damaged infrastructure is underway.

In addition, necessary shore protection and cleaning works of the riverbed are actively ongoing as well as arrangement works of temporary bridge crossing.

The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is involved in disaster liquidation works right from the beginning and continues to operate in a continuous mode.

Based on preliminary calculations, arrangement of panel bridge construction connecting to the left bank of the river should have been continued for 4-5 days, but due to 24-hour works, installation of the bridge is completed before the deadline.

Personnel of Roads Department, in the direction of design, bank protection and disaster liquidation works, is actively involved in disaster zone right from the beginning.

Representatives of regional offices of the Department and contractor organizations are also present in Chuberi.

At present, up to 60 units of heavy equipment are on the spot.
