Cleaning works are ongoing on Pshaveli-Abano-Omalo road. Based on information of Roads Department, at this stage, a large part of the road has been cleaned. Regarding the 56^th km of the road, in order to clean the road from landslide mass appropriate measures are planned.

On the road to Tusheti, during winter period, a rocky mass collapsed and covered road carriageway and closed the flow of the Alazani River. A rocky mass collapsed several times, which made the existing situation even more complicated.

Divisions of Roads Department constantly monitor the disaster zone in order to start road restoration works. Project works are ongoing in parallel mode to select an optimal option for road restoration.
