Large infrastructure projects have been discussed at the Caspian Energy Forum

First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Chairman of Roads Department Irakli Karseladze attended the Caspian Energy Forum.

Today, the 5th International Caspian Energy Forum was held, delegates from Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and the countries across the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions attended the forum.

At the forum, large international projects of Roads Department have been discussed. Issues related to construction of highway became a topic of discussion, including one of the most important projects in Europe – construction of Rikoti Pass section and construction of Kvesheti-Kobi 24 km road and a tunnel.

The Caspian Energy Forum was held with the support of the Government of Georgia and the Government of Azerbaijan and was organized by the Caspian European Club.

The Caspian European Club is the largest and dynamically developing regional organization that brings together more than 5000 energy companies from 70 countries around the world. These companies mainly operate in the countries of the Caspian, Black Sea and Baltic regions or intend to invest in the future.
