First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Chairman of Roads Department Irakli Karseladze discussed the progress of construction of the 4^th section of Samtredia-Grigoleti with the company China Railway 23^rd.

As representatives of the supervision company and the Department point out, the progress of construction works is behind schedule with significant defects and delays, therefore, the company received a strict warning and remarks from the Department.

The company China Railway 23^rd shall submit solutions and a new plan-schedule in the shortest possible time. Otherwise, due to failure to fulfill its obligations, sanctions considered in the agreement will be imposed against the company.

At the meeting, Irakli Karseladze mentioned that all dishonest companies, which delay the most important project for the country or fail to meet the quality standards, will be held accountable.
