The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will finance construction of Khevi-Ubisa 12.2 km section (II segment) of Rikoti pass road.

Today, First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Chairman of Roads Department Irakli Karseladze, together with representatives of the Asian Development Bank, discussed funding issues of Khevi-Ubisa section, progress of projects already financed by the Bank and future plans.

In addition, the Asian Development Bank finances construction of Kobuleti and Batumi bypass road and reconstruction-construction of Kvesheti-Kobi (with EBRD) and Dzirula-Kharagauli-Moliti-Pona-Chumateleti roads.

Over the last 10 years the Asian Development Bank invested more than $ 2 billion in Georgia.
