Roads Department completed rehabilitation of the 6.3 km section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road.

Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze, together with Khobi Majoritarian MP Irakli (Dachi) Beraia and representatives of local government, inspected completed works on the spot.

In compliance with the project, an existing bridge crossing was repaired and one-layer road pavement was arranged. Arrangement works of junctions, ditches and entrances to private yards were carried out, also, new road signs were installed. 

Residents of Khobi municipality will be able to use an upgraded, safe and comfortable road.

The project was financed by the state budget by 1 872 700 GEL. Works started in November 2017 and completed in December 2017. A total of 80 people were employed within the project.
