Roads Department of Georgia completes the construction of a new bridge crossing instead of the bridge crossing existing at the irrigation channel, located at km 58 of Tbilisi-Bakurtsikhe-Lagodekhi international road.

The project envisages the construction of a one-span bridge of a beam structure with a common length of 35 m.

At present, construction of the bridge is completed. Arrangement works of embankment to the bridge and asphalt concrete pavement on the bridge are remaining. Arrangement works of shoulders, metal barriers and marking will be carried out.

The project is financed by the state budget and its cost is 1 634 400 GEL. Construction works started in May 2017 and will be completed by the end of December this year. A total of 25 people are employed in the works.

The bridge is located between the villages of Tokhliauri and Manavi, in Sagarejo municipality. The new bridge crossing will ensure safe and comfortable movement of the population of Sagarejo.
