Based on information of the National Environmental Agency, due to intense snowfall on Gudauri (Posta) -Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi (border of the Russian Federation) international road, there is a danger of avalanche, due to which, traffic is forbidden for all modes of transport on this section of road.

Traffic is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats on a Mleta-Gudauri (Posta) section of the same road, while traffic is only allowed by the application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axles, also, traffic stops are forbidden.
