Roads Department carries out rehabilitation of the bridge crossing located at the Bidara River at km 106 of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road.

Under the project, restoration of the old stone arch bridge constructed in 1864 is underway, also, extension and rehabilitation of the commissioning bridge, which will fully satisfy existing transportation demands in the future, is being carried out.

At present, pile concreting works and arrangement works of monolithic reinforced-concrete slabs on bypass road are underway within the project.

The project is financed by the state budget and its cost is 2 500 000 GEL. Design-building works of the bridge started in July 2017 and will be completed by the end of this year.
